ESR/Seniors news

Chen and Esther: are going to present their work on “Decomposing age effects on speech motor planning” at 2nd Workshop on Speech Perception and Production across the Lifespan (SPPL) in London next month.

Gerard: is currently undertaking exams of the master. Once that is done, he will be busy with submitting papers and catching up. He got a new contract, therefore he will be in Oldenburg for a little while longer. Looking forward to see people in May in ICASSP! His group submitted a demo on a separate topic (hearing aid processing) and he will be showing it there if it gets accepted.

Katherine: will be going to UCL for a short visit before the Public Understanding Event. At UCL she will learn about the research being conducted there and also discuss her own work with researchers there.

Max: will be presenting the results of a recent study conducted at Sonova in two talks, one given at the meeting of the German audiological society in Cologne, and the other one as part of Sonova’s R&D talk sessions.

Valerie: has been busy organising the 2nd Workshop on Speech Perception and Production across the Lifespan (SPPL2020 https://www.sppl2020.org/) which is taking place at UCL at the end of March.
