Tuesday 3 March, 3 pm outside Las Iguanas-Brunswick Square: We will walk together to UCL (on strike Moday and Tuesday) to collect the equipment (by taxi to the RI later). We recommed not to stay too long at UCL due to the strike. A room had initially been booked at Chandler House (UCL) that morning, but it has been cancelled.
Tuesday 3 March, 7.00-9.30pm: ENRICH Public Understanding Event at the Royal Institution. Detailed organisational timings:
- 4.00pm – Demo setup, ground floor
- 6.00pm – Setup in theatre. Guests will start arriving but they’ll be sent to the café.
- 6.30pm – Doors to theatre open to the public
- 7.00pm – Event begins with the talks by Martin, Patti, Anita and Simon.
- 7.45pm – Talks end, Q&A begins
- 8.15pm – Q&A ends, demos begin.
- 9.30pm – Event ends
- 10.15pm – All clear.
Note: The RI will provide a basic snack (platters of sandwiches). Nevertheless, if someone has special requirements or prefers something substantial, we recommend that you bring your own.
