Travelling and accommodation advice

Flying to Toulouse: Its airport is well connected with our ENRICH destinations:

  • Direct flights from/to London and Amsterdam (KLM, AF). Also to Bremen, but only on 14 Jan.
  • One stop: Around 5 hours from/to Bremen (KLM, AF) and Edinburgh (Luft, AF, KLM); 8-10 hours from/to Ankara (TA, Luft.)
  • Two stops from Crete but feasible within a day (10-13 hours) as there are early departures.

E10 venue: Mónica made a group-blocking to guarantee hotel-rooms for all attendees based on intended attendance provided to her earlier (both for SPIN and E10, i.e., from 7-14 Jan). In you are staying at the E10 venue, you must confirm to Mónica, by Thursday 5 Dec, your final dates along with your institution’s billing details (if paying against an invoice a few days before your arrival) OR a card number (as guarantee, if paying once at the venue). As usual, Partner Organisations are covered by the UPV/EHU.

Mónica will be coordinating everything directly with the venue (do not contact them in order to avoid duplications). Details: Grand Hôtel d’Orléans et La Ripaille (72 rue Bayard, 31 000 Toulouse). Rate negotiated: Double rooms for single use, 90 euros per night, breakfast included, plus 1.65 euros city-tax per person-night. The airport shuttle is operative and the terminus station is just next to the hotel.

SPIN is taking place at Hôtel-Dieu Saint-Jacques, which can be reached from Hôtel d’Orléans by metro (line A) from station « Marengo SNCF » (1 minute walk from the hotel) to « Saint Cyprien République » (6 minutes walk to Hotel Dieu).

If you would like to consider other options to stay in Toulouse, let Mónica know by 5 Dec too, so that she liberates the rooms blocked for you at Hôtel d’Orléans, not to be charged for them.
