Foundations for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH) is the largest and most successful research institution in Greece (1300 personnel) incorporating 7 institutes. The Institute of Applied and Computational Mathematics (IACM-FORTH) aims at making progress in the use of advanced mathematics in real life applications. Research interests of IACM include Signal Processing, Machine Learning, Optimization Theory, Uncertainty Quantification and Dynamical Systems. In particular, Dr. Yannis Pantazis, a researcher at IACM with PhD in speech analysis/synthesis, has been working in speech enhancement, voice quality improvement, voice pathology and generative modelling.
