HOW TO GET TO E7 VENUE, Hotel Val Monte-Berg en Dal (outside Nijmegen).
Reach Nijmegen (The Netherlands) by train or plane via Amsterdam Schiphol airport or Eindhoven airport. The train ride from Amsterdam Schiphol airport to Nijmegen takes about one hour and a half (check timetables).
The bus ride from Nijmegen to Berg en Dal (line 8 to Berg en Dal, get off at bus stop “De Meerberg”) takes approximately 18 minutes (2euros). At day time, buses between Nijmegen central station and Berg en Dal run every 15 minutes. In the evenings, every 30 minutes.
BOOKING THE HOTEL
E7 will be held at Hotel Val Monte, a nice Fletcher hotel in Berg en Dal. ENRICH Partner Organisations have already been directly booked by UPV-EHU, as informed by email. Please, do not book the hotel via booking websites such as Booking.com. The ENRICH reduced room rate (67 euro per night, double room for single use, including breakfast) is ONLY available if:
a) if you book your room through this email address: info@parkhotelvalmonte.nl and b) by mentioning “Radboud Universiteit- ENRICH workshop”
If you would like to stay at the venue, please book your room before 5 February, as at least 15 rooms are reserved for us till that date. The reduced rate is still valid after that date, but room availability is less certain.
It will be difficult to find cheaper hotel rates. There is, however, one other Fletcher hotel nearby (Hotel Erica, Berg en Dal) should Val Monte be out of rooms. Cheaper options may be available through AirBnB.
